Company History

1971 Oy Banmark Ab was founded. Company separated from what was then its mother company The Bang & Co. as a special company for the pulp and paper industry. Banmark also had a plastics department which was closed down at the end of the 1980’s.

1993 Bang & Co and Bonsomer Company merge and new company Bang & Bonsomer established. Banmark got new mother company and owner.

• 1994 Banmark open its first office outside of Finland, in St Petersburg Russia.
• 1997 Banmark started its operations in Sweden
• 2004 Banmark ZAO the Russian subsidiary was established.
• 2004 Banmark started its activities in Poland.
• 2009 Banmark became part of Transmeri.
